Baraat Bridal at Karigur
The Baraat Look. Nothing Held Back.
The Baraat is the ceremony where the full weight of the craft shows. Heavy embroidery, rich fabric, a silhouette that reads from across a hall. This is what Karigur was built for.

What a Baraat Bridal Requires
A Baraat look carries everything. It's the outfit your mother will tell you about. The one your daughter will look at in photos. So it has to be worth it.
We work in raw silk, heavy net, and handwoven tissue for Baraat looks. The embroidery, zardozi, resham, sitara, is applied by hand in Karachi. The cut is fitted and finished in our Toronto studio. That combination is what makes these pieces different.
We don't do factory finishes. The work is visible and it's real.
Colour and Silhouette
The classic Baraat colours, deep red, ruby, bordeaux, burgundy, remain some of our most requested. We also do blush, ivory, and heritage greens for brides who want something outside tradition. Both are right. The question is what suits your ceremony and your personality.
For silhouette, we do Anarkali sets, lehenga cholis, straight-cut farshi shalwars, and gharara styles. All can be made custom. Many are available to try on in Toronto today.
Custom Baraat, from Sketch to Final Fitting
If your Baraat is more than six months away, a custom Baraat commission is still possible. We'll start with a design consultation, review fabric swatches, sketch a direction, and build the look in stages. You'll come in for three or four fittings before the ceremony.
If your date is sooner, we have finished pieces that can be altered quickly. Book a consultation and we'll tell you what's realistic for your timeline.
What to Expect
- Private consultation (in-person in Toronto, or by video if you're not local)
- We review your date, ceremony aesthetic, and personal style
- Fabric swatches and design direction agreed
- Hand embroidery sourced and applied in Karachi
- Finishing and fittings at our Toronto studio
- Final garment confirmed before your Baraat

I bought all three of my wedding event outfits from Karigur, one of them a custom piece. I sent pictures and they executed it way better than my expectations. The team is amazing and so helpful. They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted.
