Custom Bridal at Karigur

Made for You. Not Adjusted for You.

There's a difference between a dress that's been altered to fit and one that was made from a blank page with you in mind. This is the second thing.

3,500+ brides dressed since 1989. Hand-embroidered in Karachi. Fitted in Toronto.

I had a fantastic experience with Karigur. They are very professional and accommodating. I had my lehenga custom made and every detail was perfect. Aroona especially was very helpful through every try-on and fitting, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else.Julian Grace, Verified Google review

How Custom Bridal Works Here

A custom Karigur commission begins with a conversation. Not a form, not a mood board upload. A real conversation, in person or by video, where we figure out what you actually want.

We ask about the ceremony, the venue, your family's aesthetic, how you carry yourself, what you've worn before that you loved and what didn't work. Then we sketch a direction. You push back, we refine. By the end of the consultation you have a clear picture of where this is going.

From there, fabric is sourced. Embroidery design is finalized. The work goes to our artisans in Karachi, where the kaam is applied by hand. The finished piece comes to Toronto for fittings and final adjustments.

The Timeline You Need to Know

Custom bridal at Karigur requires three to six months from your first consultation to your final fitting. Some commissions run up to twelve months for the most elaborate embroidery work.

We do not rush the kaam. That's the whole point.

If your event is coming up in less than six months, we still want to talk. Depending on what you need, there may be options. We won't know until we hear your situation.

Investment

We don't publish pricing for custom bridal. The investment depends entirely on the fabric, the complexity of the embroidery, the timeline, and the number of fittings involved. It is shared clearly in your consultation so there are no surprises.

What we will say: custom bridal at Karigur is a considered investment. It is not the right choice for every bride, and we'll say so honestly if it isn't. But for brides who want a piece that was truly made for them, it's the only choice.

What You'll Bring to the First Appointment

Bring anything that helps: photos you love, photos you don't, a colour palette, references from social media, a sketch you made yourself. Bring your mother if that's important. Bring nothing if you want to start from zero. We can work with all of it.

What to Expect

  1. First consultation: we listen, you share, we sketch a direction together
  2. Fabric and embroidery concept finalized (in-person or by courier samples)
  3. Hand embroidery applied by Karachi artisans (eight to sixteen weeks)
  4. Garment arrives in Toronto for fitting one
  5. Adjustments made; fitting two and three as needed
  6. Final piece confirmed, pressed, and ready for your ceremony

I bought all three of my wedding event outfits from Karigur, one of them a custom piece. I sent pictures and they executed it way better than my expectations. The team is amazing and so helpful. They made sure everything was exactly how I wanted.

Each dress is uniquely designed and fitted to perfection. I can't thank Hina Aunty and her staff enough for the amazing service. Without hesitation, I always return to find exactly what I'm looking for.
