Karigur garments are hand-finished with delicate embroidery, embellishment, and fine fabrics. With gentle care, they remain heirloom pieces for years.
General Care
- Dry clean only with a specialist experienced in hand-embroidered South Asian wear. Do not machine wash.
- Store flat or on a padded hanger in a breathable garment bag, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Keep zardozi, dabka, sequins, stones, and beadwork away from perfume, water, and friction.
- Iron inside-out on low heat, avoiding embellished areas; use a pressing cloth.
- Address loose threads or beads promptly to prevent further loss.
Disclaimer
Handcrafted pieces feature natural variation in colour, embellishment, and finish, a hallmark of artisanal work, not a defect. Embellishments are delicate by nature; gentle handling is essential. Karigur is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care, cleaning, or storage.
