Made to order and coordinated with the bride. Fittings in Toronto or at Noori House, Karachi. Investment shared in your consultation.

A classic groom sherwani in warm ivory, photographed against a soft grey drape. The tailored sherwani is worked all over in tone-on-tone gold thread booti in a repeating teardrop motif, with a mandarin collar, full-length button placket and structured shoulders. It is styled over a white kurta and straight white trousers, with a contrast maroon embroidered stole and a matching maroon and gold turban.

Cut and finished by our karigars for the groom, this ivory-and-gold palette pairs with a red or gold bridal look for the baraat. It can be commissioned to your measurements and completed with a coordinating stole and turban.

Includes: embroidered sherwani, inner kurta, and trousers.

The length, collar and embroidery density can be adjusted to sit correctly on your frame, and the stole and turban colour matched to the bridal palette. We recommend booking a private consultation at our Toronto flagship, or by private appointment at Noori House in Karachi, so we can take full measurements and confirm the timeline before tailoring begins.

How It Works

How does ordering a groom look work at Karigur?

A groom commission begins with a private consultation in Toronto, at Noori House in Karachi, or virtually. We build the brief, coordinate it with the bride's look, and hand-make it at our Karachi atelier. Start four to six months ahead; investment is shared privately.

Questions

Groom Couture FAQs

Can the groom's look match the bride's?

Yes, that's how we design it. We draw from the bride's palette, embroidery, and weight so the two looks read as one considered whole. Coordinated, complementary, or deliberately contrasting, as you prefer.

How far ahead should we start?

We recommend beginning no fewer than four months before the wedding, six months or more for heavily embroidered commissions or peak season. Shorter runway? Ask about ready-to-take-home groom pieces in-store.

Where are fittings done?

At our Toronto flagship (Mississauga) or at Noori House Atelier in Karachi, by private appointment. Virtual measurement guidance is available for international grooms.
