Lorelei is a multicolour Mehndi look, an ivory front-slit shirt over a lemon-yellow lehenga, with a magenta dupatta and a richly worked yoke in dabka, threadwork, and sequins.

The long shirt opens at center front over the silk lehenga, its bodice and sleeves embroidered in magenta, turquoise, and gold, with scattered buti down the panels and a scalloped gold-and-red border at the hem. The organza dupatta carries an embroidered edge.

Includes:

  • Shirt, front-slit, embroidered yoke
  • Lehenga, silk, lemon-yellow
  • Dupatta, organza, scalloped border

The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli or veil, or a lighter palette for later.

Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.

Made for your Mehndi or Sangeet, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Fittings & Alterations
