Melantha is a deep ruby-red bridal lehenga in sheesha silk, worked all over in antique and matte gold zardozi.
A long-sleeved fitted choli sits over a full floor-length skirt, with a flowing jaal of gold dabka, champagne beads, and resham across the bodice, sleeves, borders, and hem. A beaded belt and bead tassels finish the waist and cuffs; a sheer net veil, scattered with gold motifs and edged with a matha patti, drapes over the head.
Includes:
- Choli, long-sleeved
- Lehenga, sheesha silk
- Veil, net, gold-edged
The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli or plain trousers to lighten it for later.
Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.
Made for your Baraat or Shaadi with the weight to carry a reception, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Made to Order & Timeline
Custom bridal is made to order. Timelines depend on craft and complexity, so we recommend starting as early as possible, often several months ahead of your date. Rush options may be possible; we confirm your exact timeline at your consultation.
Fittings & Alterations
Bridal is made to your measurements, taken at your fitting. Local fitting and alteration support is available at our Toronto flagship; small tolerances are normal for hand-finished garments.
Craft & Detail
Heritage handwork, worked by hand at Designed & hand-embroidered at Noori House, our Karachi atelier: Zardozi, Dabka, Resham, Threadwork, Beads.
Kaam density: Heavy. Hand-embroidery runs to 400–700+ hours across the hands of many karigars.
Handcraft & Colour
Each piece is finished by hand, so slight variations in embroidery, beadwork, and finish are natural and part of its character. Colours may differ subtly between screen and fabric.
