Nawal is a deep maroon bridal gown, a front-open raw-silk frock over a woven jamawar skirt, with a bodice in heavy gold zardozi, dabka, and tilla.

The frock opens over a gold-on-maroon jamawar skirt, with dense goldwork on the bodice and placket, embellished cuffs, scattered sequins and stones, and embroidered borders, finishing in a sheer chiffon dupatta.

Includes:

  • Front-Open Shirt, embroidered bodice
  • Skirt, woven jamawar
  • Dupatta, chiffon, worked border

The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli or plain trousers to lighten it for later.

Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.

Made for your Walima or Reception, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Questions

Wedding Couture FAQs

Can Nawal be customised?
Yes — colour, fabric, silhouette, neckline, sleeves, kaam, and the pieces can all be changed. Nawal is made to your vision and measurements in your private consultation, and it's already offered in maroon and grey.
Which ceremony is Nawal best for?
Its front-open gown silhouette and gold zardozi bodice make Nawal ideal for a Walima, reception, or engagement, where it reads as a graceful, formal bridal look rather than a heavy lehenga.
How can I see Nawal in person?
