Rubi is a deep ruby-red gharara set, a short silk shirt over a flared jamawar gharara, worked in antique-gold dabka, naqshi, sequins, and stones.

The short shirt sits in plain silk with a richly embroidered neckline, floral sprays down the front, embroidered cuffs, and a heavy gold border, over a jamawar gharara of woven gold booti and a deep border at the flare. The matching dupatta is scattered with gold booti and head-draped as a veil.

Includes:

  • Short Shirt, embroidered silk
  • Gharara, jamawar, gold booti
  • Dupatta, head-draped, booti

The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli, veil, or plain trousers to vary the look.

Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.

Made for your Nikkah or an intimate event, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Made to Order & Timeline

Fittings & Alterations

Bridal is made to your measurements, taken at your fitting. Local fitting and alteration support is available at our Toronto flagship; small tolerances are normal for hand-finished garments.

Craft & Detail

Heritage handwork, worked by hand at Designed & hand-embroidered at Noori House, our Karachi atelier: Dabka, Naqshi, Sequins, Stones, Zari.

Kaam density: Medium. Hand-embroidery runs to 200–400+ hours across the hands of many karigars.

Handcraft & Colour

Each piece is finished by hand, so slight variations in embroidery, beadwork, and finish are natural and part of its character. Colours may differ subtly between screen and fabric.
