Shadan is a champagne-and-fuchsia gharara set in silk, a short embroidered shirt over a gold-woven gharara, led by raised gold dabka across the yoke.

The square-neck silk shirt carries a hand-worked yoke of dabka, zari, sequins, and pink resham flowers, with scattered gold motifs over the body, sleeves, and cuffs. The fuchsia jamawar gharara is woven with gold floral zari, and the champagne dupatta is finished with gold booti and a pink border.

Includes:

  • Shirt, embroidered silk
  • Gharara, gold-woven jamawar
  • Dupatta, booti, pink border

The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli, veil, or plain trousers to ease it for later wear.

Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.

Made for your Mehndi or Mayoun and lighter wedding events, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Yes — colour, fabric, silhouette, neckline, sleeves, kaam, and the pieces can all be changed. Shadan is made to your vision and measurements in your private consultation.
What ceremony is Shadan best for?
Its champagne-and-fuchsia palette and medium kaam make it ideal for a Mehndi or Mayoun, and it works beautifully for a Nikkah or engagement event. We can lift the embroidery for a heavier function on commission.
