Sharika is an ivory-and-gold Nikkah look, a short silk shirt over a flared jamawar gharara, lit with hand-worked gold dabka and zari.

Gold floral embroidery crowns the round-neck yoke and runs the borders, with scattered buti across the body and a dense hem; the gharara falls in soft gold-woven jamawar, finished with a net dupatta on a gold, peach-edged border.

Includes:

  • Short shirt, embroidered silk
  • Gharara, jamawar, flared
  • Dupatta, net, gold border

The set can be tailored on commission, a matching potli or plain trousers to lighten it for later.

Each panel is drawn as a khaka and embroidered by hand on the adda at Noori House, our Karachi atelier, over many hundreds of hours.

Made for your Nikkah or engagement, available off-the-rack or fully made to order (colour, fabric, silhouette, sleeves, kaam, and pieces), by private consultation.

Craft & Detail

Heritage handwork, worked by hand at Designed & hand-embroidered at Noori House, our Karachi atelier: Dabka, Zari, Sequins.

Kaam density: Medium. Hand-embroidery runs to 200-400+ hours across the hands of many karigars.
